Hifi in a Suitcase: Cambridge Model 12

Cambridge audio was one of the many companies that Henry Kloss, a well known audio and video technologist/designer was involved in - he was the K in KLH. It is hard to believe now, but KLH was a very innovative audio company back in the 50's and 60's, introducing the world to affordable high fidelity gear that was designed to fit into a home; equipment that featured a contemporary, clean design.

The Cambridge model 12 is definitely an extension of that idea, a carrying case that holds two satellite speakers and an amplifier -- plus the case itself doubles as a subwoofer! Many years ago I had a chance to hear this in action, and it was better than my home system at the time. I have always wanted one if for no other reason because it is so well designed.

Much to my surprise, it is still available. If you need good audio, and plenty of it, in a carry-on case -- here you go.
